I don't receive ads right now. In between I did install my paid Xiialive pro, then in order to do the bug report, I uninstalled Xiialive pro and installed Xiialive (free) again. Maybe the adstream is stopped, maybe I have a grace period before ads happen again, maybe the(free) version knows, that there was a (pro) on that tablet ?

Jona, it seems that FFMpeg fails. It makes "Init Stream Engine Failed" on every single stream, even m3u.. And I'm very new to Android no idea whether it is "in the system" or "in the app".  It could well be that it is not an issue of XiiaLive.

I have a weak remembering that FFMPeg stream engine worked once, because I seem to remember that I tried and did not see a difference. But now it fails.

Shoutcast number (shows as URL in favorites) is 1383556, Android is 4.1, device is MITech (Actions) P703. Coding is seemingly UTF-8.

It generally does not display the station name I entered in Favorites, but the station name received over the stream. With kyrillic this goes awray,with Komsomolskaya pravda. With latin letter stations, it could be disturbing. Maybe both, the favorites station name, and the streamed station name, can be shown, as both are relevant.

Yes, Xiialive is wonderful program.

I found in between, it is the "Mark" button, to mark the song currently playing. It gets active when the radio station transmits song names.
