Hey thanks for the feedback. The internal volume control simply controls the player volume separate to the system media volume. There is really no extra volume gain or loss because of the internal volume. I do see why raising the EQ levels would increase the volume level but it is not really the best way to do it. We do want to include a better EQ and gain features in the new future to be able to increase the volume.
Are you still having issues? This should be working on the latest release of XiiaLive.
Closing this post since this issue has been resolved.
Yes, I understand. I'm was shooting to release an update today anyways. :)
Could you trigger a bug report right after you see the metadata update on the phone? I'm hopping somehow the device logs shows me something. The bug report is under XiiaLive/settings.
Please try disabling AVRCP setting. That setting is actually a hack and might be causing the issues.
Hey Rick, I got your email and URL. Thanks for that! I was able to resolve the issue. It will be available on the next release.

Thanks for your feedback. Could you explain a little more what is happening with the app? Are you trying to connect to your favorite stations and you can't or simply connecting to any station you find? When you try to connect to a station what error do you see? This error is very helpful for us to determine a possible cause.

Does this issue happen only with a particular station? Could you provide the URL or name of the station? This will help me investigate.
