Hello, you can always easily stop streaming by sliding down the task bar and clicking on the XiiaLive icon. This will take you to the player, there you simply press stop.

**Note that if XiiaLive is streaming you will always see the XiiaLive icon at the task bar.

This subject is turning out to be a little harder than I expected on Android. The media controls support is a bit beta I guess on our application. I believe that possibly the best solution could be:

1. When default headset control is set to off; only when the XiiaLive has focus and is playing the media controls should go to it and when not in use the media controls goes to the next default application.

2. When default headset control is set to on; XiiaLive becomes the default no matter what.

We currently provide only support for previewing the tagged song. We will be adding support for better support for listening to tagged songs, such as going directly to youtube, previewing high quality samples of the track directly from XiiaLive and purchasing the MP3s.

We would like to add all the supported EQ and sound FX supported by the newer Android OS versions. If these FXs are supported by the OS you should see this feature available soon. Otherwise it might take a little longer to have this feature supported.

Update v2.1.6 has fixed this issue.

UPDATE:
In update v2.1.6 we added some fields that weren't supported by Android 1.5 and possibly some 1.6 devices. We will release a maintenance update this month to hopefully resolve this issues.

Thanks for the logs. In your case I see you are running a custom ROM "MoDaCo Custom ROM for the Advent Vega r7". Could be an issue with that particular ROM. From the logs I can see that the Android Media Framework is sending a signal that it completed playback, which is wrong. I'll see if I can send you a different version of the app so that I can see more log message output and determine if it's a bug in our app or actual Android OS.

Long press your home screen and select shortcuts, scroll down till you see XiiaLive. Click there and it will allow you to create a shortcut.
