We currently don't have the screen resolution support on the latest version of xiialive. On the next update we will put a temporary fix for allowing the app to go fullscreen. We like to provide a layout very soon specific to larger screens.
Update 11/02/11:
The current version of XiiaLive allows it to stretch much better on multiple device screens. However its not perfect for tablets but it makes use of the bigger screen a lot better. We are looking forward to be able to create the tablet version in the near future.

Has this issue continued? Have you tried using the Internal stream engine?
Thanks for the feedback! How are other apps showing? Same issue? We have tested on some emulators with a particular normal screen size but higher dpi and ran into similar issues. We believe this is something to do with Android specifications: http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html#range
Regardless we definitely need to dive in to the layout issues and understand why things are working like they are now...

Update 11/02/11:
Issue has been resolved in current version of XiiaLive.
The slow stream start is do to some changes on the Android Media framework, go figures... :( In any case that is why we are working to make our own "Internal stream engine" our default. Please try installing XiiaLive Beta from the Android Market. This contains many changes and fixes for both Android stream engine and our own Internal stream engine.
Update 11/02/11:
Using the Internal stream engine is the main solution if this issue is encountered on some phones. The new versions of Android OS have officially added this issue. On some phones is not a problem while on others it is...
After investigating the issue it appears that this is an issue with Android. AAC streams are played over RTSP and currently Android 2.3 seems to have broken RTSP functionality. Please see the following link:

We are waiting for further response from the Android Team.
Update 05/05/11:
Seems like the AAC issue with Android 2.3 have been resolved on the next upcoming update 2.3.4. Thanks to everyone that confirmed this.
I'm currently trying to reproduce the noted issue and gather all the information needed so that the developer working on the internal stream engine can resolve.
I'm currently investigating so that I can have all the information so that the person in charge of the internal stream engine can look into it. We are working on a new update and this issue will be taken care after our new update.
Anyone having issues with OGG please post here:

I looked over the issue you are having and I was able to see the stream crashing with the internal stream engine. I have added this issue to my notes to get that fixed. It might take a little time to fix it since we are working full out on a new update. In regards to the playlist url you provided it doesn't work for me...
